Just Lately...

Matt and I bought a house during the summer and we have slowly been fixing it up. Here are some before and after pictures.

These aren't the greatest pictures and the room isn't fully done. Matt did an awesome job on the fire place.(we got the idea from theletterredcottage.com) The hardwood floor was underneath all of the carpet upstairs. Its been fun to work on the house together. Our family and friends are awesome and they helped us a ton with all the painting, ripping up carpet, tiling, baseboards, and appliances. I'll try and get some more pictures of the house up soon.

We also got a new addition to our family this summer...

Duke

After many escapes from the back yard and one close call with puppy jail we had to say goodbye to Duke. We gave him to a rancher so he could chase horses all day.

Well thats about it for now... I'm not to excited for school tomorrow. I'm not really a fan of April Fool's day. Last year during my prep hour I went to make copies or something and came back to a toilet papered classroom. And I mean toilet papered! It was everywhere, hanging from the ceiling, tied around my computer. Today before school started I took my lunch to the faculty room fridge and came back to a keyboard with the letters all popped off and put in different places. I can only image what tomorrow will bring.
